Russian groups do not pose a threat to Kharkiv. This was announced by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Oblast Administration, Oleh Synehubov, on Telegram on May 10.

"The Armed Forces of Ukraine confidently hold their positions: not a single meter has been lost. The enemy group does not pose a threat to Kharkiv; they have enough forces only for provocations in the northern direction. All government bodies are functioning, they are in place, and they are fulfilling their duties", - noted Synehubov.

At the same time, according to him, the occupiers have intensified shelling in the northern direction. Primarily, the enemy strikes the city of Vovchansk. Throughout the night of May 10, shelling continued from guided aviation bombs, multiple rocket launcher systems, and artillery. There were unsuccessful attempts by enemy reconnaissance and sabotage groups to breach the border.

"We urge the civilian population of border settlements to take cover, as for the enemy, there is no difference between striking military infrastructure or unarmed civilians", - the statement also said.

It was previously reported that for the assault on Kharkiv, the russians have increased their 50,000-strong group in the border regions.
