The Coordination Headquarters for Mandatory Evacuation under Martial Law has decided to forcefully evacuate children from certain settlements in the Donetsk oblast. This was reported by the head of the Donetsk Oblast Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin, on Telegram on August 5.
"I participated in a meeting of the Coordination Headquarters for Mandatory Evacuation under Martial Law. The meeting was chaired by Vice Prime Minister and Minister for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories, Iryna Vereshchuk.
The decision was made to forcefully evacuate children and their families from Myrnohrad, the villages of Marynivka, Mykhailivka, Lysivka, Novohrodivka, Luch, Moskovske, Balahan, Mykolaivka, Myroliubivka, Malynivka, Novoekonomichneth (the Hrodivka community), Kostiantynopil and Ostrovske in the Kurakhove community", - Filashkin reported.
The head of the Donetsk Oblast Military Administration also noted that, based on the recommendation of Andriy Hnatov, Commander of the Khortytsia Operational-Strategic Grouping of Troops, a decision was made to forcefully evacuate children from Selydove.
"Additionally, today, the regional commission on Technogenic-Ecological Safety and Emergency Situations in the Donetsk oblast decided to carry out the forceful evacuation of children from settlements located within 10 kilometers of the front line", - Vadym Filashkin added.
It is worth noting that on July 31, mandatory evacuation of children with parents or legal guardians was implemented from six settlements in the Donetsk oblast due to safety concerns.
