The video shows the SBU drone striking directly at the rear rotor of the enemy helicopter. "War correspondent" Yegor Guzeev claims that three helicopters have been shot down in this manner—Mi-28, Mi-8, and Ka-52.

Information about a border breach in the Kursk oblast was spread by the russians yesterday, but they claimed that the FSB supposedly repelled the attacks. However, the rhetoric changed later, and the russians began evacuating people and reporting troop movements towards and from the village of Sudzha. Andriy Kovalenko, head of the Center for Counteracting Disinformation, stated that russian claims of border control in that area are fake. By evening, the russian Ministry of Defense acknowledged the fighting. On August 7, evacuations were announced from some settlements in the Kursk oblast. Authorities reported "tanks and Ukrainian sabotage groups". Ukraine has yet to comment on the situation in the Kursk oblast.
