Russian colleagues left the injured propagandist Yevgeny Poddubny without any assistance, but were quick to report his death. This information comes from a post by russian blogger Yuri Podolyaka on Telegram.

As previously reported, on Wednesday in the Kursk oblast, the "war correspondent's" vehicle was attacked, presumably by a Ukrainian UAV. His comrades promptly announced Poddubny's death. It was later discovered that the propagandist had suffered severe burns and a head injury but survived.

"According to the war correspondent's colleagues, Poddubny survived only because he fell out of the vehicle in the seconds between the FPV drone strike and the fire", - Podolyaka commented on the misleading "sensation".

The film crew did not consider it necessary to stop by their boss’s burning car and hurried to announce his death.

"The film crew following behind saw the burning vehicle and assumed Yevgeny was dead. He was later accidentally spotted and rescued by a rescue team", - writes the propagandist.

As a result of the nearly panicked flight of Poddubny's colleagues from the scene, news of his death quickly spread through the media.
