On August 14, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed that four military airfields in russia had been damaged. This was reported in a statement on the General Staff's Facebook page.

"On the night of August 14, units of the Air Force and Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, together with the Security Service of Ukraine and the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, attacked four airfields in the Voronezh, Kursk, and Nizhny Novgorod oblasts of russia", - the statement said.

Specifically, the affected airfields are "Khalino", "Savasleyka", "Borisoglebsk" and "Baltimor".

These airfields host army aviation, Su-34 bombers, Su-35 fighters, and other military aviation equipment of the enemy.

"The main targets of the attack were fuel and lubricant depots and aviation munitions. The results of the attack are being assessed", - the General Staff wrote.
