Russian troops have come within close proximity to Pokrovsk in the Donetsk oblast, with the occupiers now based just over 10 kilometers from the city's outskirts. This was reported on August 15 by Serhiy Dobriak, head of the Pokrovsk City Military Administration, via Telegram.
"Today, the enemy has approached almost to our community, to the city of Pokrovsk. They are just over 10 kilometers from the outskirts. The enemy is cynically targeting either critical infrastructure, private buildings, or residential areas. People are dying", - he said.
The CMA head urged residents not to delay their evacuation, especially families with children and elderly people.
