This was announced on social media by Ruslan Stefanchuk, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
"I welcome the strong support for Ukraine by the newly elected European Parliament in the approved resolution on continuing financial and military support for Ukraine by EU member states", - noted the head of the Ukrainian parliament.
"The European Parliament has a clear position on what Ukraine needs today for victory: increased and expedited arms deliveries without restrictions, additional financial support and its long-term planning, heightened sanctions pressure on the Russian aggressor and its accomplices, as well as support for Ukraine's Peace Formula", - Stefanchuk stated.
"Together, we will win and bring lasting and just peace to the European continent!", - Stefanchuk emphasized.
It was also reported that the EU has extended sanctions against russia for six months due to its aggression against Ukraine.
