The U.S. Department of Defense has signed contracts worth over $33 billion with several companies for research and development under the Pentagon's Information and Analysis Center, according to RBC-Ukraine, citing the Pentagon's press service.

Among the companies awarded contracts are American Systems Corp., DCS Corp., Peraton Inc., and others. The work is expected to be completed by 2027 in various locations specified in individual orders.

Additionally, companies such as Apogee Engineering LLC and Joint Research and Development LLC have been awarded similar research and development contracts worth more than $33 billion. Funding for 2024 and 2025 has already been partially allocated.

Furthermore, Boeing has signed a contract to supply Small Diameter Bombs worth $6.9 billion. The work will continue until 2035 and includes deliveries for foreign military customers such as Japan, Bulgaria, and Ukraine.

The U.S. has been providing large-scale military assistance to Ukraine since the start of russia's invasion. This comprehensive support includes not only the supply of heavy weaponry, such as air defense systems and artillery, but also training for Ukrainian soldiers, intelligence sharing, and financial aid.

Recently, the White House announced a new military aid package for Ukraine worth $375 million, which will include bombs, ammunition for HIMARS systems, artillery shells, missiles, anti-tank systems, M1117 armored personnel carriers, and other equipment.
