On October 14, russia carried out yet another attack on the port of Odesa. As a result of the assault, one person was killed, and eight others were injured, all of whom were civilians. This was reported on Telegram by Oleksiy Kuleba, the Deputy Prime Minister for the Restoration of Ukraine and Minister for Communities and Territories Development.
“On October 14, russia once again shelled the port of Odesa. As a result of the attack, one person died, and eight others were injured. All were civilians. The Palauan-flagged cargo ship 'OPTIMA' sustained damage for the second time! A week ago, this ship was already damaged in a ballistic attack, resulting in injuries to foreign crew members. The other damaged vessel today, 'NS Moon', flies the flag of Belize”, - Kuleba reported.
He added that during the russian attack, a grain storage facility, cargo cranes, storage premises, equipment, buildings of the port administration branch, and vehicles were also damaged.
“The enemy once again reports alleged hits on military targets. In reality, the targets remain the same: civilian vessels, grain storage facilities, and terminals. This infrastructure is essential for ensuring global food security, which russia threatens once again by undermining all norms of international law”, - emphasized the Deputy Prime Minister.
