The russian fleet is effectively no longer capable of impacting the course of military operations in Ukraine. This was announced by Ukrainian Navy spokesperson Dmytro Pletenchuk on air of the national Ukrainian TV news marathon.
"Intelligence colleagues could provide a more professional answer to this question. I can note that regardless of the level of readiness and the number of units, it cannot actually influence the course of military actions in our theater", - said Pletenchuk.
According to him, the enemy could transfer some units via internal waters, but they will not do so because "they cannot even manage the units they have remaining in the Black Sea, which is effectively paralyzed in the Azov-Black Sea region".
"As for other bodies of water, such as the Mediterranean, they also cannot reach here from there", - added the Navy representative.
He noted that the weakness of the russian fleet is confirmed by actual combat operations in Ukraine.
