Occupiers force Mariupol schoolchildren to write "letters to soldiers" 10/23/2024 17:23:33. Total views 73. Views today — 21.

Schools in the temporarily occupied Mariupol have been ordered to write mandatory "letters to a soldier", reports the National Resistance Center.

"Children are being coerced into expressing gratitude to the occupiers for 'liberating' them from peaceful life. Refusal is not possible without the risk of sanctions, and the letters are presented as 'voluntary' initiatives", - the statement says.

It is noted that this action is part of a propaganda campaign aimed at strengthening control over the population and creating the illusion of support from local residents. Similar practices have already taken place in schools in the Kherson oblast, where children wrote letters during their first lessons under the supervision of teachers.
