Russian occupying forces launched 2,023 strike drones at Ukraine throughout October 2023, according to a report from Ukraine’s Armed Forces General Staff on November 1.
“In October this year, russian occupiers deployed 2,023 Shahed-type strike drones and other unidentified drones targeting Ukraine’s civilian and military facilities. Of these, 1,185 were neutralized by Ukrainian defenders, 738 were locally lost, and 29 exited our state’s controlled airspace”, - the report stated.
Since the beginning of 2024, a total of 6,987 enemy strike drones have been launched against Ukrainian territory, primarily targeting Ukraine's civilian and critical infrastructure.
