On the evening of November 6, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had a "wonderful" phone conversation with the newly elected U.S. President Donald Trump.
"I had a wonderful phone call with President Trump and congratulated him on his historic and convincing victory—this outcome was possible due to his impressive campaign. I acknowledged his family and team for their excellent work", - Zelensky wrote on social media.
"We agreed to maintain close dialogue and deepen our cooperation. Strong and unwavering U.S. leadership is essential for peace and a just world", - stated the Ukrainian President.
As reported, Zelensky had previously congratulated Donald Trump on his win in the U.S. presidential race.
