On November 26, the NATO Parliamentary Assembly adopted a significant resolution calling for enhanced comprehensive support for Ukraine and assistance in expediting its invitation to join the Alliance. This was reported on Telegram by the Chairman of Ukraine's Verkhovna Rada, Ruslan Stefanchuk.

"The NATO PA recognized russia as the most significant and direct threat to the security of Alliance members and emphasized that this threat will persist in the long term. The Assembly condemned the increasing military support provided to russia by North Korea and highlighted that the deployment of DPRK troops against Ukraine and the supply of missiles and ammunition pose a serious threat to peace in Europe and the Indo-Pacific region", - Stefanchuk noted.

According to him, the NATO PA urged the governments and parliaments of Alliance member states to:

- Increase military, financial, and humanitarian support for Ukraine, ensuring timely delivery of ammunition and advanced weapons systems, including air defense systems, long-range precision weapons, and multirole fighter jets;

- Support the Ukrainian Peace Formula and Victory Plan;

- Intensify political and practical efforts to help Ukraine receive an invitation to the Alliance as soon as possible and become NATO's 33rd member;

- Strengthen sanctions against russia and North Korea.

As previously reported, NATO is discussing the possibility of preemptive strikes on russia in case of an imminent threat of attack.
