German Chancellor Olaf Scholz arrived in Kyiv on the morning of December 2, as reported by the Telegram channel "DW Glavnoe".
"For the first time in two and a half years, the German Chancellor has visited Ukraine. Scholz immediately announced new arms deliveries to Kyiv worth €650 million", - the report states.
It is noted that the German Chancellor plans to meet with Volodymyr Zelensky and lay flowers at Maidan square.
"Ukraine can rely on us. We say what we do. And we do what we say. To confirm this once again, I set out for Kyiv last night: traveling by train through a country that has been defending itself against russia's aggressive war for more than 1,000 days", - Scholz wrote on the social network X.
