About 70 miners' wives held a "revolt of empty saucepans" in the Krasnoarmeyskugol SE in Pokrovsk, Donetsk region in protest against non-payment of salaries to miners. It was reported by head of the Independent Trade Union of Miners of Ukraine Mikhail Volynets on his Facebook page.

"As people from Pokrovsk (Donetsk region) informed me, there are about 70 miners’s wives holding a "revolt of empty saucepans". The situation in the Krasnoarmeyskugol SE has not improved and the problems are not solved. Miners have not been paid and can not feed their families," - wrote Volynets.

"It should also be understood that the mines of Krasnoarmeyskugol SE are located near the front line, as well as that they are the main place of employment for ocal people," - he added.
