Intelligence recorded signs of preparation by militants for offensive operations in Donetsk and Slavyansk directions. It is reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine on the Facebook page.
"Signs of the enemy's preparation for combat operations in Donetsk and Slavyansk directions (Svetlodarsk march-off)," - noted the intelligence.
According to MIA, there is a threat of intensification of offensive actions or raids by militants "to expand the controlled territories" from 4 to 8 August.
Earlier representatives of the self-proclaimed "DPR" reported about the possibility of another military action in eastern Ukraine in Russian media. "The situation is aggravated with every day. There is no progress after the next negotiations on the political settlement. The situation remains tense, it can erupt and escalate into a full-fledged clash at any moment," - said one of the leaders of the "DPR" Denis Pushilin to Izvestiya newspaper.
