One Ukrainian fighter was killed, four more were wounded as a result of the shelling of positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine by militants near Krasnohorivka, - the press center of ATO reports.
"According to preliminary information, as a result of the shelling of a strongpoint of small unit of one of the mechanized brigades the personnel of which carry out military tasks in the coastal direction near Krasnohorivka, a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine had died, four more defenders had been wounded", - the statement said.
It is noted that the enemy fired from Staromykhailivka settlement which is located on the temporarily uncontrolled by Ukraine territory.
The ATO Headquarters press center specifies that the enemy used in this direction 120-mm and 82-mm mortars, ZU-23-2 anti-aircraft mounts, grenade launchers of various systems and small arms. The militants used 20 mines of 82-mm caliber and 30 mines of 120-mm caliber during the shelling of positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
