The number of Ukrainians who have traveled to the Crimea since the beginning of its annexation by Russia is gradually decreasing. This was reported by the press service of the State Border Service.

It is noted that since the beginning of the annexation of the peninsula, border guards see a decrease in the passenger-transport flow through the administrative border in both directions.

"In 2017, the administrative border was crossed by almost 100 thousand vehicles less than in the past, and in 2017, for 9 months 1 million 976 thousand citizens crossed the administrative border in both directions, which is 8% less than last year (2 million 150 thousand)", - the report said.

At the same time, the number of vehicles decreased from 417 thousand in 2016 to 323 thousand in 2017.

Currently, there are three crossing points on the administrative border with the peninsula: Chaplynka, Kalanchak and Chongar. There is no official railway and passenger service.
