Former commander of the Donbass Battalion Anatoliy Vinohrodsky using the call sign "Gal" was arrested for 60 days. This decision was made by the Zhovtnevy District Court of Mariupol on November 27, - Rukh Vyzvolennia social organization reports on Facebook.
"Judge of the Zhovtnevy District Court Alexey Tomilin, having previously closed the court session from the public, sent our activist, second commander of the Donbass Battalion Anatoliy Vinohrodsky (call sign "Gal") to remand prison for 2 months", - the report said.
Yesterday, the same court decided to arrest ex-fighter of the OUN battalion Leonid Lytvynenko (call sign "Back") for 60 days.
Earlier, the press service of the National Police of Ukraine reported that one of the former leaders of the Donbass Battalion and his associate was detained for attacking the guard of a private agricultural enterprise in the Kirovohrad oblast.
In turn, the press service of the prosecutor's office of the Donetsk oblast reported that on July 27 of the current year, two persons attacked the guard of a private enterprise in the territory of the Kirovohrad oblast and, using violence, seized money in the amount of $23.5 thousand, as well as computer equipment. One of the attackers was the former leader of the volunteer Donbass Battalion.
Information on this fact was included in the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations under Part 2 of Art. 187 (robbery) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
