The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavel Klimkin compared the pro-Russian separatists in Ukraine with terrorists of the "Islamic state", in this way he responded to the statement by the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. - according tothe Evropeiska Pravda.

"Both Igil terrorists and Russian puppets are forces that are trying to undermine our values - peace, security, respect for the rule of law and human rights, respect for borders", - said he at the OSCE Ministerial Conference in Belgrade.

Klimkin also reminded that not only pro-Russian terrorists but also the Russian side deliberately violate international agreements, including the recent Minsk agreements.

"The Minsk agreements provide release and exchange of hostages and prisoners of war according to the principle "all for all". This also applies to those Ukrainian citizens who are captured in Russian prisons, including Savchenko, Sentsov, Kolchenko. Russia must fulfill its obligations", - emphasized he.

"Those, who oppose the illegal occupation and annexation of Crimea, are pursued by the occupation Russian government and many of them are held in prisons", - added the Minister.

As previously reported, in Belgrade the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov suggested Western countries to suspend temporarily the contradictions in all matters, including Ukraine and unite in the fight against Igil.

Lavrov also said that the situation in Europe resembled the period before the First World War.
