The police has identified two members of the "DNR" armed gangs in Kramatorsk, - the department of communications of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Donetsk oblast reports.

Thus, employees of the Kramatorsk police department received operational information regarding a resident of Kramatorsk, who participated in the "DNR" armed gang for some time. During verification, the data was confirmed. The man, born in 1977, was engaged in the construction of roadblock near the airport in the city of Kramatorsk, where he "drew duty" down the line.

Criminal proceedings were instituted in this connection under Part 2 of Article 260 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine "Creating militarized or armed formations unprovided by the law".

Another local resident, born in 1986, came to the police department voluntarily and told that in June 2014, he was in the ranks of "employees" of the so-called "DNR": he carried out the access control arrangements at one of the Kramatorsk roadblocks. Having realized that he was victim of propaganda, he left the "fighters" of the pseudo-republic. When Kramatorsk was released, the mercenary carefully concealed his past.

A pre-trial investigation was also launched on this appeal. After it will be proved that the man did not commit serious crimes during his stay in the illegal armed formations, he will be officially released from criminal responsibility under Part 6 of Art. 260 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
