An employee of the regional Security Service of Ukraine suspected of selling cannabis will be tried in the Donetsk oblast. This was reported by the press service of the State Bureau of Investigation.
The indictment has already been sent to court. Pre-trial investigation was carried out by investigators of the territorial administration of the State Bureau of Investigation, located in the city of Kramatorsk.
Pre-trial investigation found that an employee of one of the SBU units, which is deployed in the Donetsk oblast, together with a civilian supplied the local residents with a narcotic drug - cannabis.
The procedural guidance in the pre-trial investigation was carried out by the military prosecutor's office of the Donetsk garrison.
Qualification: illegal production, manufacture, purchase, storage, transportation, transfer or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues (part 2 of article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). In case of proof of guilt, the policeman faces imprisonment for 6 to 10 years with confiscation of property.
