President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky knows who is behind the failure of voting in the Verkhovna Rada on the law on the legalization of gambling industry. He wrote this on his Telegram.
"Yesterday, the Verkhovna Rada failed to pass a law on the legalization of gambling. We know who is behind it. You do not want to play by transparent rules? To work in a civilized way and pay to the budget? Well, let us do it in another way. We close all gaming halls immediately from now on. Think…", - Zelensky wrote.
Let us recall that Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov promised at an extraordinary session of the Cabinet of Ministers to close the gambling business throughout the country.
As previously reported, the Verkhovna Rada could not pass bill No.2285-d "On state regulation of activities in the organization and conduct of gambling" in the first reading.
