The number of new cases of COVID-19 per day has doubled over the past month. This was reported by Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov at a briefing in Kyiv today, - correspondent of OstroV reports.
"If we analyze the figures we see over the past week and compare them with the situation that was a month ago, we will see that the number of diseases per day has doubled. This is the result of the fact that we, Ukrainians, have completely lifted the quarantine restrictions. I believe that it is time for us to think and ponder over the figures that we announce daily regarding the number of sick and fatal cases, which is also growing", - he reported.
The Minister once again urged Ukrainians to wear masks, maintain social distance and use a sanitizer.
As previously reported, 829 new COVID-19 cases were recorded in Ukraine over the past day, which is the next anti-record for the entire period of the epidemic.
