The Ukrainian side in the humanitarian subgroup of the Trilateral contact group demanded to release famous scientist and theologian Igor Kozlovsky from the "DPR"captivity. It was reported by PACE member, Commissioner of the President of Ukraine on the peaceful settlement of the situation in Donbass Irina Gerashchenko on Facebook.
"We demand to provide comprehensive lists of people, militants keep them. We also gave a demand from Ukrainian teachers and scholars to release famous theologian Igor Kozlovsky whom militants detained in January and arrested for no reason. Unfortunately, there is no specific news for families of hostages, but we insist to release, first of all, ill people and those who have been kept for a long time. We insist that the release process should continue but not be blocked.
As previously reported, in January 2016 "MSS of the DPR" arrested a well-known scientist-theologian, president of the Center for Teaching Religion Research and International Spiritual Relations Igor Kozlovsky in occupied Donetsk. Later it was reported in the media that he had been accused of forming an armed gang engaged in killings.
