Regional governors should to prepare for a transition to a "mobilization economy". Secretary of the Security Council of the russian federation, Nikolai Patrushev, made such a statement on November 16, as reported by "The Moscow Times" Telegram channel.

He emphasized the need to "ensure the development of mobilization plans for the economies of the russian federation's entities and municipalities", speaking at a security meeting in Voronezh for the Central Federal District.

Patrushev tasked governors and responsible federal officials with "personally overseeing" the implementation of this directive, along with ensuring the security of critical facilities, including protection against drone attacks.
