U.S. President Joe Biden has referred to the Republican Party's refusal to vote on aid to Ukraine as "political blackmail", as reported by Interfax-Ukraine.
"Republicans in Congress are threatening to cut off support to Ukraine if they cannot break through their extreme party-line politics. This is political blackmail in its purest form", - said Biden. According to him, "the stakes are too high, and the consequences are too significant for political balancing on the brink of war".
As reported, the bill providing a substantial package of financial aid to Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan did not pass procedural voting in the U.S. Senate.
