Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced a new defense package from Poland for Ukraine, agreed upon during talks with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk on January 22. Zelensky shared this information on his Telegram channel after the negotiations.
"Today, we had very productive talks with Mr. Prime Minister Donald Tusk. On all aspects of our bilateral relations. There is a new Polish defense package. We appreciate such unwavering assistance. There is a new form of our interaction for larger-scale weapons purchases for Ukrainian needs - this is a Polish loan for Ukraine", - noted Zelensky.
He also specified that he discussed with Tusk the possibilities of future joint production of weapons.
Earlier, it was reported that Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk arrived in Kyiv.
