As of now, the needs for the recovery of Ukraine amount to almost $486 billion. This was stated by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, according to the Telegram channel "Uriad online".
According to Shmyhal, these are the results of the third assessment of damages and needs (RDNA3), which the government of Ukraine conducted jointly with the World Bank.
"Over the past year, the needs for recovery have continued to grow, especially in the housing sector, where 10% of the entire housing stock has been destroyed or damaged due to the enemy's actions, in the agricultural and environmental sectors", - noted the head of the government.
The Prime Minister also reported that the total economic, social, and other losses of Ukraine as of the end of 2023 amount to almost $499 billion.
