In Chernihiv, as of the morning of April 18, the number of casualties increased to 18 as a result of the russian strike on April 17. This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine on Telegram.
"Chernihiv. As of the morning, 18 people have died and 77 have been injured (including 4 children), with 3 people rescued from the rubble", - the message at 7:24 a.m. stated.
It is noted that psychological assistance has been provided to 58 individuals. 1,580 tons of construction debris have been removed, and more than 70% of the collapsed part of the building has been cleared.
Emergency rescue operations are ongoing.
