US Secretary of State Antony Blinken arrived in Kyiv for a visit of solidarity. This was reported on the morning of May 14th by Voice of America, citing the State Department.
It is noted that during the visit, Blinken intends to discuss issues of providing military assistance to Ukraine from the United States. The Secretary of State will meet with Ukrainian officials, including President Volodymyr Zelensky.
During these meetings, the US Secretary of State plans to reaffirm the continuing support for Ukraine from the United States, said State Department spokesman Matthew Miller.
In addition, the head of the US Department of State hopes to deliver a speech addressing the situation in Ukraine.
As reported, Sullivan stated that in the coming days, the US will announce a new package of military aid for Ukraine.
