During the night, all kamikaze drones aimed at the Lviv oblast were shot down by air defense forces and systems. This was reported by Maksym Kozytskyi, head of the Lviv Oblast Military Administration.
"Our air defense warriors destroyed all 5 of the 'Shaheds' that attacked the Lviv oblast this night", - said the official.
He provided data from the Air Command "West" as of 05:55 a.m., stating that during the first night alert, which lasted from 02:32 to 03:35 a.m., four 'Shaheds' entered the airspace of the Lviv oblast.
During the second alert, which lasted from 04:27 to 05:24 a.m., another enemy kamikaze drone attempted to attack the region.
"Our air defense warriors shot them all down", - the OMA head informed.
Around 03:30 a.m., it was reported that air defense was active near Lviv due to an enemy kamikaze drone detected in the vicinity of the city. Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi reported a strike in the village of Malekhiv and the injury of a man, who was hospitalized.
Later, the Lviv city administration clarified the damage and shared photos. The enemy air attack in Malekhiv damaged apartment buildings, private sector buildings, and an office. Around 05:30 a.m., another explosion was heard in Malekhiv, indicating further air defense activity.
