In Ukraine, 38 people are currently reported dead and 190 injured as a result of the russian missile attack on July 8. President Volodymyr Zelensky announced this on Telegram on July 9.

"The rescue operation following yesterday's russian missile attack is ongoing. As of this time, 38 deaths have been reported, including four children. My condolences to all the families and loved ones. 190 people have been injured and are receiving assistance", - the President wrote.

According to him, 64 people are in hospitals in Kyiv, 28 have been hospitalized in Kryvyi Rih, and 6 people in Dnipro. All patients from "Okhmatdyt" have been transferred to other medical facilities. Emergency and rescue operations at some missile impact sites continued throughout the night, with nearly 400 rescuers involved.

"Thank you to everyone who is saving and caring for our people, everyone who is involved, everyone who is helping. We continue our work to increase the protection of our cities and communities from russian terror. There will be decisions. The world has the necessary strength for this. Also, thank you to all the leaders who have supported us and are preparing new joint steps to protect life from russian terror", - Zelensky noted.
