On July 18, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal reviewed the process of constructing fortifications in the Zaporizhzhia oblast. He announced this on Telegram.
"Today in the Zaporizhzhia oblast, I reviewed the process of constructing fortification structures. I listened to a report from the head of the Oblast Military Administration on this matter. Building defensive lines is one of the key priorities and part of the responsibility of regional heads. It's about protecting the lives of our military and enhancing our defense capabilities", - the Prime Minister noted.
He reminded that 1.4 billion UAH had been allocated directly to the Zaporizhzhia Oblast Military Administration for fortification construction.
"In total, this year, the government has allocated 2.4 billion UAH for these purposes in the Zaporizhzhia oblast", - Shmyhal stated.
