On July 19, Ukrainian forces shot down a russian Su-25 fighter jet attempting to attack positions of the Defense Forces in the Pokrovsk direction. This was reported on the щperational and strategic grouping of troops "Khortytsia" Telegram channel.

It should be emphasized that the anti-aircraft warriors from the 110th separate mechanized brigade named after General-Corporal Marko Bezruchko destroyed yet another Su-25 attack aircraft in the steppes of Ukrainian Donbas. Thanks to the precision, skill, and professionalism of our anti-aircraft gunners, today russian aviation lost another combat aircraft – a Su-25 attack aircraft", - the message says.
