The Andrey Torgashov who was blown up in his own car is not the deputy commander of the special purpose missile troops. This was reported by russian media.
In reality, the injured person is his namesake and surname twin. He is also a russian military officer but has no connection to satellite communications, which was the responsibility of the other Torgashov. According to a new version from russian media, the injured individual is a colonel in the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the russian federation.
The deputy head of the satellite communications radio center told reporters that the information about his injury is fake. Torgashov claims he has no connection to the Toyota Land Cruiser and lives in a different district. "This is a complete fake, this explosion has nothing to do with me", - he said.
As previously reported, media outlets stated that the russian military officer Andrey Torgashov, who was blown up in his own car in moscow, served in the MID and fought against Ukraine. The Ministry of Defense officer was responsible for communications in his unit and participated in military operations in Ukraine.
