Russian invaders are constructing fortifications on the Mariupol-Donetsk highway, as reported by the legitimate authorities of Mariupol on July 24.
"The invaders continue to build fortifications near the village of Hranitne on the Mariupol-Donetsk highway. Additionally, the russians continue to supply military equipment and personnel to the north of the Donetsk oblast", - the statement said.
The mayor's office also reminded that the invaders are persisting in their attempts to build a railway from Rostov-on-Don to Mariupol.
"They plan to extend it to Crimea. The new railway line in the 'deep rear' is intended to simplify military logistics and reduce the russian army's dependence on the Crimean bridge. Partisans have repeatedly carried out sabotage operations, but the occupiers continue the construction", - the mayor's office reported.
