Russian occupiers have withdrawn their ships from the Sea of Azov due to the damage inflicted on the railway ferry "Slavyanin". This was reported by the spokesperson for the Ukrainian Navy, Dmytro Pletenchuk, during a broadcast of the national Ukrainian TV news marathon on July 25.

"As for the Sea of Azov, there are no longer any russian military ships there. Previously, they could be based somewhere there, entering occasionally. For instance, they were periodically in the Taganrog Bay", - said Pletenchuk.

He noted that russian troops left the Sea of Azov due to the damage to the railway ferry.

"They simply took a map, used a compass to draw a radius, and realized that it wasn't very safe to stay there. This is the only reason; the only language our enemy understands is the language of force. As a result, they decided to leave this area", - the spokesperson added.
