Flights are being delayed at the international airport in Volgograd, russia, "due to an attack by Ukrainian drones", according to russian media.
"Five flights at Volgograd Airport have been delayed due to the attack by Ukrainian drones", - the report states.
Regional authorities acknowledged that "due to the overnight incident, the use of airspace in the area is temporarily restricted".
"Arrivals and departures at the airport are limited. So far, five flights have been delayed, none of which are international", - local authorities confirmed.
It was previously reported that the authorities in russia's Volgograd oblast acknowledged that drones attacked a "military facility in the Marinovka area".
