Russian forces carried out 2,664 attacks along the front line and residential areas in the Donetsk oblast in one day. As a result, one person was killed and eight residents were injured, with 54 civilian objects damaged, including 33 residential buildings, according to the regional police on August 23.
Thirteen settlements were under fire: the cities of Kostiantynivka, Kurakhove, Lyman, Myrnohrad, Novohrodivka, Pokrovsk, Toretsk, the villages Myrne, Dibrova, Maksymivka, Plishchiivka, Uspenivka, and Yasna Poliana.
In Myrne, a man was killed as a result of the shelling.
In Plishchiivka, the russians dropped a KAB-250 bomb, injuring four civilians and damaging eight private houses.
Kostiantynivka was attacked by artillery, injuring two civilians and damaging a shopping center, an educational institution, trading pavilions, and cars.
One person was injured in Novohrodivka, and another in Toretsk.
The occupiers attacked Pokrovsk with a drone, damaging an apartment building and a civilian car. In Myrnohrad, five private houses were damaged.
The Donetsk Oblast Military Administration reported that 3,095 people, including 476 children, were evacuated from the front line within a day.
