On the morning of August 26, Ukraine is under a massive attack by russian missiles and drones, according to reports from regional and city officials on social media.
The head of the Odesa Oblast Military Administration, Oleh Kiper, reports: "Explosions are heard in Odesa! Please, do not leave safe places!"
The head of the Kharkiv Oblast Military Administration, Oleh Synehubov, writes: "The occupiers continue to strike Kharkiv! Emergency services are continuing to inspect the impact sites". He added, "At around 08:05 a.m., the enemy struck Kharkiv, with an impact recorded in the Nemyshlyanskyi district in an open area. So far, no casualties have been reported".
The head of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, writes: "Explosions in the Zaporizhzhia oblast".
Deputy head of the Vinnytsia Oblast Military Administration, Nataliia Zabolotna, reports: "Air defense is active in the region. Stay in shelters!"
The Ternopil Oblast Military Administration reports: "Do not leave shelters! Air defense is operating in the region".
The Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast Military Administration also reports that air defense is active in the area.
Authorities in Lutsk report that a residential building in the city has been damaged as a result of an enemy attack, and information on casualties is being clarified.
The Ukrainian Air Force reports that the enemy is also attacking the Lviv, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Mykolaiv, and other oblasts.
