In Ukraine, as a result of a massive air attack by russian forces on August 26, seven people were killed, and 47 citizens were injured, including four children. This was reported by the State Emergency Service on Facebook.
"In total, as a result of the attack on Ukraine, 7 people died (2 of whom passed away in the hospital), and 47 were injured, including 4 children born in 2014, 2017, and 2024", - the report said.
The State Emergency Service informed that operations following the massive strike have been completed at all locations.
In particular, the dismantling of damaged building structures of a five-story residential building in Lutsk has been completed.
Rescue workers extinguished 22 fires during the day and saved two people.
A total of about 740 State Emergency Service personnel and 176 units of equipment were involved in responding to the aftermath of the enemy shelling.
It should be noted that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that on August 26, the russian army launched at least 127 missiles and 109 drones at Ukraine.
