The quasi-entity "DNR" plans to address staffing issues in the coal industry by bringing back miners who left for higher-paying jobs in russian Yakutia and Vorkuta. This was reported in local news outlets on August 27.
"A shortage of staff remains one of the main problems in the mining region. This is reported by the company 'IMPEKS-DON', which has taken under its wing four mines in the DNR", - the propagandists write.
They quote the company's CEO, Vladimir Pakreev: "Staffing is the biggest issue. But I'll tell you that just last month, if until June we had an increase of 85 employees — we hired them for the four mines — then in June and July we hired 165 people".
"Yes, initially they left Donbas's pride without pay or paid them peanuts. Now they need to find a way to bring back the specialists", - write the Donetsk social media.
It was previously reported that the "mayor" of Makiivka, Vladislav Klyucharov, stated that the mobilization and evacuation carried out at the start of the "special military operation" affected the operations of the Makiivka mines.
