The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed that on the night of August 28, two oil depots and a field artillery depot were struck on russian territory. This information was posted on the General Staff's Facebook page on August 29.
"On the night of August 28, a strike was carried out on the 'Atlas' oil depot in russia's Rostov oblast. As a result of the strike, a fire broke out in the vertical storage tanks at the facility. Firefighting trains were reportedly involved in extinguishing the blaze. The mission was completed by the units of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces and the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine in coordination with other components of the Defense Forces", - the statement reads.
It is also noted that strikes were carried out on the 'Zenit' oil depot in the Kirov oblast and a field artillery depot of the russian 'West' troop group in the Voronezh oblast of russia. Detailed information about the consequences of these strikes is still being clarified.
