The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine has not yet detected any concentration of military units or equipment of the Belarusian army in close proximity to the border between the two countries. This was stated by the Border Guard Service representative, Colonel Andriy Demchenko, during a national Ukrainian TV news marathon, as reported by the Telegram channel of Radio Liberty.
Demchenko also noted that "since Belarus remains within russia's sphere of influence, we must be prepared for any development of the situation". He emphasized that there is information about troop movements and certain concentrations deeper within Belarusian territory.
