Currently, there are at least three fundamental reasons why any negotiations with dictator vladimir putin are impossible — for starters, there is a lack of trust in the russians. This was stated by Mykhailo Podoliak, advisor to the Head of the Office of the President, on Telegram.
According to Podoliak, as far back as 1928, the Litvinov Pact was signed at the kremlin's initiative, which provided for the renunciation of war as an instrument of state policy. Since then, the USSR and its successor, the russian federation, have initiated dozens of wars and violated hundreds of agreements, including the 1994 Budapest Memorandum and the 2003 Treaty on the Ukrainian-russian Border.
Ukraine’s losses since the beginning of the war are estimated to range between 700 billion to 1 trillion dollars. Russia, on its part, is unable to pay such compensation, which is why a mechanism under international control is needed, similar to the one by which Iraq allocated a percentage of its oil and gas revenues to compensate Kuwait, which suffered from the Iraqi occupation in 1990-1991.
"But establishing such a mechanism is only possible with the cooperation of the government of the aggressor state. In Iraq, this required the removal, arrest, and execution of Saddam Hussein. The conclusion regarding putin personally is clear", - he added.
Podoliak noted that the biggest criminal in russia is dictator putin. According to the charter of the International Criminal Court, the kremlin's leader does not have immunity concerning war crimes, crimes against humanity, or genocide. This means he will resist investigations to the end and will not surrender his subordinates.
"All wars eventually end; negotiations begin, and peace treaties are signed. The only obstacle to this is one person. The name of this person is obvious and is already inscribed in history in a very bloody way", - Podoliak wrote.
It was previously reported that India has previously agreed to relay messages between Zelensky and putin.
