There were explosions in Kharkiv today, August 30, causing casualties, as reported by the city's mayor, Ihor Terekhov.
"One of the strikes hit the central part of the city, targeting civilian infrastructure", - he wrote, later adding that there were no casualties, but the area of the KAB bomb hit is still being inspected.
There were also strikes in the Nemyshliansky and Industrialny districts, with casualties reported.
"In the Nemyshliansky district, the occupiers killed a child right on the playground. A girl. At least three more people in this area were injured", - Terekhov stated.
"According to preliminary information, in the Industrialny district, there was a strike on a 12-story residential building. There's a fire and partial destruction", - the mayor wrote.
It was later confirmed that two people had died in the burning high-rise building.
