Russians have disrupted the water supply in Pokrovsk. This was reported in a Telegram message on the morning of September 12 by Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk Oblast Military Administration.
"The russians have disrupted the water supply in Pokrovsk. As a result of the hostilities, the operation of the modular filtration station, which had been supplying water to Pokrovsk recently, has been halted. It is currently impossible to restore its operation. We are working on a solution to this problem", - wrote the OMA head.
He reminds that 75 public-use wells have been drilled in the Pokrovsk community at the local budget's expense, and 250 wells near apartment buildings at the expense of homeowners' associations.
"In the community, drinking water delivery has been organized, and 8 reverse osmosis units have been installed from which people can collect water for free. Meanwhile, the water supply continues in Rodynske", - noted Filashkin.
"The situation is difficult and is not expected to improve soon. Therefore, I urge you once again: evacuate! Evacuation is the only right choice for civilians!", - emphasized the OMA head.
