An enemy shell struck the outpatient department of the hospital in the border village of Velyka Pysarivka, the Sumy oblast, on September 18. This was reported by the Velyka Pysarivka newspaper Vorskla on its Telegram channel on September 18.
"On September 18, the enemy 'greeted' Velyka Pysarivka and other settlements of the community with heavy artillery shelling. One of the shells, likely fired from a self-propelled artillery unit (which will be determined by experts documenting russian war crimes), hit the outpatient department of the Velyka Pysarivka hospital at around 6:30 a.m.", - the report said.
It was noted that the clinic was spared from significant destruction because the shell did not explode but simply split in half. However, as Vorskla reported, removing the dangerous shell will be difficult, as it could detonate at any moment.
"Yesterday, the enemy also shelled Velyka Pysarivka with artillery. Shrapnel flew all over the town center, hitting the library, the town council, and other buildings", - the report added. "Dear residents, there's no need to say you should not ignore the sirens. Here, explosions happen first, and then the alarm sounds (because the town is about 8 kilometers from the russian border in the Belgorod oblast). So please take the opportunity to evacuate to protect your life and health".
